problem saving in Quark 6

When I try to save changes an already-named document in Quark 6, it prompts me to name it again and tries to replace the original document -- the usual procedure for "save as."

Anyone else have this problem, or a solution?

Having the same problem on OSX2.8. I can only save if I save in 5.0 format.

Seems to have something to do with the extra internal hard drive on my system. Quark has trouble keeping track of the temporary file.

I'm having a similar problem. I'm using a 1.8MHz G5 with OSX 10.2.8. I think it might be a conflict with either fonts or Suitcase or a combination of both. Its difficult to be sure because its not consistent which leads me to think it might be fonts.

I've talked to Quark about this but they do not have a solution at present, Extensis supplied me with an update for Suitcase but the problem persists. Could this be an issue with font permissions.

Any suggestions?
