I'm having a very strange problem - when I edit a text file (using Windows) that's located on my Linux box, I can save the file, but if the file is shorter than it was previously, it doesn't get truncated. So, file "foo" has contents "123456789". I replace this content with "abcdef", and the resulting file on the Linux box becomes "abcdef789". Does this ring any bells? It just seemed to spontaneously start happening a couple of days ago, without any obvious action on my part. (no upgrades of software, etc.)

Please help!
Daniel

Actually, come to think of it, the only thing that's changed is that I downloaded the Microsoft WMF patch... (slaps forehead, groans).
