Hello all. I am asked by the management of the firm to route incoming calls to an offsite location. I am trying to do this by using a vector and a vdn.
Basically the situation is this:
- trunk group 1 is of type CO and has 8 trunks in it
- the incoming destination of trunk group 1 is vdn 201
- vdn 201 uses cor 88
- cor 88 has FRL 7
- vdn 201 uses vector 3
- vector 3 is shown below:
route to number 00700XXXXX with cov y unconditionaly
- the number 00700XXXXX from above vector has a leading zero added (for accessing trunk) and is a number of a call center
So, when I make a call from outside trunk group 1 (vdn 201) it is properly transferred offsite to the exact location. But when I try to make a second call when the first one is still in progress, the call gets transferred, but not to the needed location - it just rings somewhere else. The call center where it is supposed to ring can receive multiple calls simultaneously of course, so it's not the culprit.
I can't find information on how the trunks in a trunk group are used i.e. in what order of preference are used or which trunk is preffered. Also how can I find out where the second call is transferred? Call detail recording?? Should I use STOP at the end of the vector?
Thanks.
