hii all

I have a problem with photoshop 7 Me
It was working properly
but suddenly now when I open it
it starts normally and starts loading its tools (you know when the eye picture shows) .. but then it suddenly stops and closes automatically without any error messages or anything !!
i have tried reinstalling it over 10 times and from different sites and Cds.. but same problem :(
PLeaaaaaaaase Help me ... I Need to finish some stuff as soon as possible!!

Thanx in advance ,,

Hi,

How far does the loading get before crashing, load it up and see what the last thing loading is?

What Operating system are you running?

How many fonts do you have installed?

Once we know more about the problem we can assist more :)

For people who might have the same problem :
This is the way :)

In Photoshop 7, replacing the Prefs is as easy as pressing down Command-Option-Shift (Mac) or Control-Alt-Shift (Windows) immediately after you start launching Photoshop 7. (Don't hold down the modifier keys before you launch, press them immediately afterward and hold them down until you see the dialog box.) You'll be asked if you want to delete the "Adobe Photoshop Settings File." Rather than replacing the Photoshop Prefs file, this replaces the entire Settings folder, include Color Settings, Actions, ToolPresets, and all of the other settings files.

I had a simialr problem and browsing through your explanation I was able to resolve the problem as well.
The key is when Photoshop start keep holding Down CTRL+ALT then Shift until the message appears.
Thank you for your help.
A star is granted for your help.
