Hi,

Please help me troubleshoot my problem regarding on the Auto Attendant using the embedded Voicemail for IP 406 V2 running on IP office 4.0. Callers sometimes heard "you have entered an invalid number.." even though the recorded auto attendant message is not yet finished and the caller is not entering any digit at all. After they heard that "invalid message", the call is been terminated.

Your help is greatly appreciated

Thank you very much...

In your ICR, set a fallback destination. The call should go there if no DTMF is recieved by the AA. You have I believe 5 seconds "default" to enter DTMF, or it will transfer to your fall back. If no fallback is set in ICR it may disconnect, or not know what to do and kind of freak out.

Also, do not route calls to AA's if you do not have them recorded, and the menu's set up.

You can also try turning your maximum inactivity timer up.

Granted, this should only come into play once the greeting has been played, its worth a try anyway.

It is after this time it will try and follow the fallback.
