Problem: On a Norstar 0x32 : When DID 616-7131 is dialed from the outside world to the station, if the station is idle, it rings 4 times (the prescribed amount in the forward no answer/forward delay = 4 rings section of the stations programming) then is answered by an Octel AA. If the main number of 616-7100 is dialed and then the ext. of 7131 is dialed, whether the station is idle or busy the caller reaches the stations personal mailbox. Same true if the station’s 4-digit extension is dialed from another station. Could the stations target line of 171 have told to ring the AA of Octel? No one had the Octel passwords last nite, so we couldn’t get in to check. Any thoughts?
