Sorry guys I really stopped by this task for days...

I can install dBaseV in a Windows XP machine, but i find that i can't print the report out, as dBaseV allow you to print only to LPT1 port.
In Windows 95, 98, I can use "Capture port" to map the LPT1 port to a shared printer, but i find out that in XP, there is no option of capture port. I can now only export the report as text file and then copy and paste it into a word( to fit the size)

Did anyone have suggestion in this??

There have been other threads on this TYPE OF question (just check a few pages back).

If you're only looking for a quick fix you can TRY the following thread:

thread290-347252

It may help until there's a more permenant solution or you are able to upgrade the software.

Take a look at my postings in this thread where I describe how I manage 90+ users using dBase 5 and help them to print to any of 40+ printers by using the NET USE command in DOS... thread182-533428
