Problem: Multiple Lines Showing on Same Button

Hi,

I've added Multiple lines to a System.

Problem:
When I dial each of the lines that were added, the phones ring, but multiple lines ring and show up on the same button on the phone sets.

When I added them I selected Appr&Ring on the set.

Question:

How do I get each line to show up on one button on the phone? This way users will know which line is being called.

Hummmmm, what type of phones are they? Make sure that you have each line as Appear&Ring for the phones. I know you stated that you did but double check!

check the button programming with Ftr *0 if the programming shows 1 line on 1 button, then I would begin to suspect a hard cross on the line somewhere.

Hi,

I checked with Ftr *0 and each button shows the correcponding line.

I'll check wiring.

Could it have anything with the type of service that we have? Centrex?
