Problem modifying backup job

I'm trying to modify a job in AS2K SP4 to add an additional folder from the local machine to the backup.

I can select and view the folder and its contents in the backup window, but when I click the Run/Schedule button the application just quits.

No errors are recorded in the logfile when I re-open ARCserve, and the job I was trying to modify remains on hold.

If anybody has seen this before, I'd appreciate any pointers...

Looks like the job queue has a problem. Apply this patch and check what happens and if it still fails delete *.QSD folder and recreate the jobs...

Thank you kindly, that did the trick.

I recall using the patch on another server, but that was to cure a problem where a job remained active after a crash - looks like it's the answer to more than one headache
