Problem logging into G450 with putty

I have been trying to log into our G450, but haven't been successful. I have the correct IP address but putty wont connect. I've tried using port 22 and port 23 and they both don't work. Does anyone have any ideas why I cant connect.

Reboot the G450. We had the same issue last week with one of ours.

Don't you have to log into the gateway to reboot it?

You can do a hard powerdown bu just pulling the power cords.

Maybe a reset media-gateway X level 1 from CM?

I am with 4merAvaya - pull both (if you have dual pwr cords)power cords. I usually let it sit for about 5 minutes as well. We had a few do that as well.

also try clearing the arp cache of the PC you are trying to connect from
