we have 4 phones we just converted from 2616 to 3904's so they could log calls.
they work as a help line and they each have a regular dn and a roll over line on keys 0 and 1. they also have a line on key 2 that is an mcr and appears on all 4 sets.
I can not get the calls to the mcr to appear in the logs

I have moved the mcr to key 0 and marped to a set and calls still do not appear in the log.

I have checked each phone and log all calls is enabled on the sets.
can calls (mainly missed) calls be logged from a line that is MCR'ed on several sets.
I would prefer all calls to the mcr line to be logged on all 4 sets but would settle for just one set in a pinch.

there may not be any stupid questions

Try changing CLS ADD to TDD I believe that causes all keys to automatically display the caller ID when ringing instead of having to push a DISPLAY button.

It worked for us to remove callers from the call log except for calls to key 0.

I already have tdd and cnda in the cls

By default and on all older releases, all call records are booked to the Prime DN of the phone, in other words Key 00.

It does not matter what key you use on the phone, the call record will book to that phone's KEY 00 DN.

My post is related to CDR, not logging on the set itself...

What type of trunks do you have. If PRI is it NI2 protocol. If so there is a patch for the Call Logs on M3000 sets using NI2 trunks.

Let me know what release you are and I can let you know what patch you need.

make sure the firmware is up to date. my 3904 logs 2 scr keys, my mcr key and my intercom key. FDLU TN
