I am able to locate the DC and put in the credentials, it then comes back and says 'The following error occured attempting to join the domain "". The specified server cannot perform the requested operation. I Can ping it connect to it in workgroup mode. The passwords are correct. Also when I go into users and computers the computer I tried to join is in there with a red x on it. I have deleted it and rebooted the desktop to no avail. This is the first computer to join. I have tried others as well with the same results. I performed the same actions multiple times with 2000 server and never had this problem. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks.
