Problem Installing Informatica Server

I am trying to install "Informatica 5.1", on XP-Professional, and
using database Oracle 9i.

during installation process of informatica server, after entering
"Oracle Key and Platform key", nothing happens, and i m unable to
continue installation.

it shows, informatica in list of services, and when i m trying to
start that manually, i m getting the message " Logon failure".

what can be wrong?

check the service pack for xp. if it is severice pak1 then unstall the service pack install informatica and then install service pack 1

Check your event log for detailed error messages.

I am Satish here. I would like to get a clarification from you on this issue.

I am trying to install Informatica Server on Windows 2000.

I am not able to find what is the Platform Key required for the same. Kindly elaborate on this key.

I got the Product Key for the version ( WIN 2K ) installed in my laptop but it does not work.

Is there anything which I am missing here?

Please help me on this....Its a little urgent.
