We are receiving the file from mainframe to Unix thru Connect:Direct. We have asked them to send the file to us and also run a shell script at our end . They are able to send the file to us thru Connect:Direct and then able to run the shell script at our end. However, after they run the shell script, our shell script seem to be doing nothing even though our log shows that they have executed the script successfully. It seems they are not able to access our directories mentioned in our script even though we have appropriate permissions created on those directories.

Please help.

Hi:

You're not giving us much to go on, but having worked in this are before, here's where I'd look:

1) I'm assuming your data from the main frame is ASCII. Is it terminated correctly? Generally, that's a line feed, but maybe not.

2) I'm not familiar with C:D. Is it having problems with the directory separator \? Maybe it's trying to use /.

Regards,

Ed

As I know, you must set Authorization Information File appropriately.
For local user,pstmt.runjob/pstmt.runtast should be set to Y, pstmt.run_dir/pstmt.task_dir should be set.
For remote user,pstmt.run_dir should be set as well.
Have you done it?
