problem in nortel router passport 2430

Hi
i would like to aske about a solution for nortel router passport 2430
while a power engineer make a test in the site he make the electric on/off then on/off up to 5 times and the inverter 220 volt which supply the router was damaged
after the electric be stable on the router did not boot and by console it give this masage
unknown device id during initial initialization insert flash and restart system

Sounds like the flash is corrupted. If you have another 2430 you could try either of the following;

use another running 2430 to reformat the flash from the faulty one to see if it resolves the problem. You will need to have a copy of the software and config somewhere else as they will be erased from the faulty flash.

Use the flash from another 2430 to boot the faulty 2430 then re-insert the faulty flash to format. This will prove that it is the flash that was the issue.
