Dears;
I am facing a problem in adding new controls in a VB Project which is in VSS right now. When I add new controls like SSTab and design a form using it. But , when other developer uses that form and checks out it converts into Picture Box and loses all the changes. Please , help me how to handle it if we add new control which is not in the VBP of other user.

Are you checking in the associated .FRX too? If so, make sure they check out both the .FRM and .FRX.

Also, does each programmer keep their own .VBPs? If so, you might want to send an email to each of the programmers informing them of the addition of the control.

Hope this helps.

Are you people still on this thread. I'm facing the same problem too. And I never check in/out a single file. I check all the files in the project as a whole. and regarding the .vbps, that's also checked in/out along with the other files

Make sure the other developers have the necessary 3rd party controls installed. If you try to open a project that references a 3rd party control that you don't have on your machine, VB will substitute the picture box.

Please make sure that the other developer has Sheridan 3D controls registered in the other developer's PC
