problem dialing certain numbers over a pri.worked with carrier they said i need to remove the access control parameter from my d channel.does anyone know how to do this?

Certain numbers" is what, to me, points to the problem.

What is common about those certain numbers?

the pri vendor is paetech they came in with a t bird and dialed this # 212-940-xxxx and the call went thru.i dial that same number i get an intercept recording from telco.the engineer monitored my call and stated that i must remove the access control parameter from d channel, because they are tandeming out to a mci\worldcom switch and mci\worldcom rejects it because it has the access control parameter

So, one exchange has a problem? 212-940

-Set your own TN to TGAR 0 and CLS UNR
-Figure out the Trunk Route Access code for this PRI (ACOD prompt in the Route data)
-Dial the ACOD, hear dial tone, then 1212940-nnnn

If it goes through, it's your BARS programming. Report back your findings.

Nor did you confirm it was just that one Area code+exchange.

i got the same intercept when dialing trunk access code.it also happens on 212-451-nnnn.

I guess posting the RDB and the DCH might generate some better answers. Also, setting the channels to 3VCE has been known to resolve a variety of problems. The default is VOD.

Quick way to spot your setting is LD60 .STAT
