problem browsing network on my domain NT server 4.0

hi everybody, i have this problem, i have NT server 4.0 on my domain, few pcs, only 5, and myn server, which is the domain server, it has installed the 6 service pack, i have this problem when i am at the server and want to open the shared resources of the others pcs i can´t i get the following error: "There is no servers to validate yur request" is something like that, is like there is no domain server on my network, but i am logon at the server as Administrator. Hope somebody can help me, i got the same error if i use \\IP_address, from the run option.

At the server, are you logged onto the domain, or logged on locally? You could get that message if you log on locally and try to access network resources. Also make sure the Net Logon service is running on the server.

i am connected to the Domain as the domain administrator, which is the server administrator .
i have to look if the netlogon service is up, but i think i have already look for that and was up.
another idea?

Does your server have more that one nic installed? If so look at your routing table and see what the active default gateway is.

HI,
It might be because of your fire-wall on either client machine or on the server. so diable firewall and reboot the system and you should be able to access your client machine from server as an administrator.this may solve your problem.
please let me know the result.
