In order to use the A G DL P method of assigning permissions using Active Directory I have created a Global group containing some users and added it to a Domain Local group.
However, when I try and give the DL group access to a shared folder it cannot find the DL group, or any DL group for that matter. If I click the Advanced button to search for the group I can see all my users and all the Global groups but no DL groups at all, not even 'Administrators'.
I'm no doubt overlooking something simple but as a relative newcomer to Server 2003 I would appreciate any advice on how to solve this problem.
