Hi All,
I'm trying to add a reference to my MS Access object library.
I can add MS Excel object, but mysteriously, I'm having problems trying to add a reference to the Access object.
I get an error message stating:
" A reference to 'MS Access 10.0 Object Library' could not be added. Converting the type library to a .NET assembly failed. A dependent type library 'OWC10' could not be convertedt to a .NET assembly. A dependent type library 'ADODB' could not be converted to a .NET assembly. Item has already been added. Key in dictionary: "C:\windows\assembly\gac\adodb\7.0.3300.0_.... etc\adodb.dll" Key being added: "C:\windows\assembly\gac\adodb\7.0.3300.0_.... etc\adodb.dll".

Anybody knows how to solve this.
Would appreciate any help as I need to resolve this issue urgently.
Thanks so much.

I don't know if this will fix your problem, but I had a similar error when adding an Excel reference. I had used a variable name in my project that was the same as one of the Excel constants. Chnaging the name of the variable fixed the problem. It works fine now.
