Prob with Aut-MSG-WT button assignement 1

Have built a group mailbox that is tied to a virtual extension. Two people are responsible for checking this mailbox so I added the 'aut-msg-wt' button to a 8434D and the Attendant console for the voicemail extension.

However, the buttons do not light when new messages are received. I have confirmed all of the settings on the audix box and they are no different from any other standard audix box.

Any ideas?
