Hi folks,

This is probably a very basic question but it has got me stumped!!

I have a page containing ASP code that works perfectly when published onto Personal Web Server. However, when I put the file on the company web server, and then view the page, the ASP code has not even been executed.

What do I need to do to fmy asp page and / ot the server to get this to work?

Thanks in advance,

Graeme

and example of the code would be useful here =)
i could take a stab at a few possibilities though.
Let's assume the ODBC has been re-configured properly for your IIS.

1. A file (usually an include file) is not within the permissions of the website's access.
2. No execute permission granted in the IIS
3. The asp is executing but not the way it was intended.

sorry i cant be of more help without seeing some code

This may sound stupid, but are you sure you turned the web site on through IIS? It may exist, but not be turned on. (Has happened before)

What are your attributes set as (read, write, script-source-access, etc)?

Other than that, it would be helpfull for you to provide more information as to what exactly happens (You only get a plane white page, you get a page cannot be displayed error, page not found error????).
