private lines whit DID trunk

Hi every one.

How i can program a private line whit DID trunk, i programmed the FTC in ld 56 but i need to get dial tone, i programer a hot d key in the 2616 phpone, but i can´t get the tone.
When i dial the acces fron the an extension the trunk´s access code i get the tone, but the hot d key i can´t get the tone.

i need to program 4 private lines.

i assume your using 2 way did, try pvr key or hot L, i would think hot d should work, have you tried a trace and is your route marked rtn=yes

hi.
when i dial the hot d line i get the line i can an outside number but i can't get a dial tone, and the user doesn't know if he get a line or not.

i'll try like a private line.

DIAL THE ACOD OF THE RDB FROM ANOTHER PHONE AND SEE IF YOU GET DIAL TONE IF NOT IT ISN'T THERE

try marking the rdb to rtrn=yes, not really a pvl,those work with a private co line, i have fooled the switch by using a 500 set as a incoming co and programing the trunk card as a pvl. works everytime. what are you truing to make this phone do, exactly?

Hi, thanks for the answers, i have a E1 or T1 pool,of 30 chanels, when i dial the acod of the route i get the tone i have no problems, but i want to program a private line at channel 1, i programmend the tones, the digit conversion, but i cann't get this line in a telephone button, i mean i woul like to push a button and then get the dial tone forn the channel 1.

not going to happen, the office sees the e1 as a pipeline, they send 4 (usual) digits on the next open trunk. in the states i could have the co give me channels that were dedicated for just a users exten. or make the channel a pots line (just like your home phone) and then make it a pvl. i might try to put a channel in a separate rdb to res. it for just one user but the co send 4 digits down that pipe, it's busy in. two way dids are not meant to be pvl. instead of finding a work around (and yes there is one) i would order 4 analog lines and a trunk card for the vips. then make them auto term on pvl's, that way they are always waiting for the same person to use and never busy by another user.. btw..there is always a work around in this switch, even when nortel says there's no way for it to do that. how much do you want to spend and how hard do you want to try. i have 23 pvl's on a pri for vp's on this site. that solves the pvl problem, each user has a unlisted number and a personal outbound that he doesn't have to dial 9 on

I woul like to try until the end, how dou you get the pvl at the pri. i tried whit programming a at the key a pvr but a get a bussy tone.

i need more help.

you need to build the rdb then the trunk then the pvl, good luck
