priv.edb and pub.edb

My harddisk nt v4.0 exchange server 5.5 with sp 6 crach so I have safety by copy the pub.edb priv.edb now I have installed like the same server os but when I upload the database back up are pub and priv.edb with stop the service exchange and swap it mean the exist new installing by copy it by the back up pub and priv.edb and the I start the service exchange ... it never start. please help me the other way out. Thanks

If you created a new installation you should be abla to get up all services exept the information Store.
If this is you must run first the command:
isinteg -patch
then you must startup the information store service, then
go on your Exchange Manager
go to the consistency adjuster under the advance tab of you server configuration properties.

lovalles, you missed a step.

After you isinteg, you MUST reboot.

If you need to run Isinteg -patch there should be an event in the event viewer in the application log, or you will receive a server specific error -1011.
I would recommend you also look up a Q article on running isinteg -patch before you run this command.
You do not have to reboot after running this command.
