From the print preview screen, I have my report set up to print OnClose. What syntax do I use to print only the record currently displayed, not the whole report?
In MsWord I know I can use

PrintOut Range:=wdPrintCurrentPage

to do what I want, is there a similar command for MsAccess?
Thanks
Phil

There is but I don't think it works too well in '97
you have to use code

DoCmd.PrintOut acSelection, pagefrom, pageto, acDraft, Copies, collatecopies

Create a command button and then paste this in the "Build window" or open properties and look for the On-click event it will be the only one with the word Event Procedure in it
click the down arrow and paste it in there

Thanks DougP. Your right it doesn't work very well, I'll keep playing.
Saxie1
