Printing without opening a Report !!

Hie ,

How would you output a report from a FORM to a printer without necessarily displaying the reports on screen
Or without evoking the reports runtime ?

If you don't want to display a report you can set DESTYPE parameter to printer (see System Parameters in the Reports on-line help).

....I had configured my DESTYPE to PRINTER in the report property (Distribution) but apparently it is still not outputting it to the printer.

I have also tried addind BACKGROUND to my paramlist but apparently it still aint working.

Can you send your report to a file? Also try to add parameter DESTYPE='Printer' to the parameter list when calling a report from a form.
