I've not been able to find a work around, or the way to set this up.

When printing from my SCO server running visionfs, when I print to a win2k machine it doesnt work, because you have to log into the machine in order to have permission to print. Is there a way to make this work without that?

I have done this via samba on SCO but not currently with Vision Fs via a shell script containing the login information for the local machine.

I finally found a tech article that adresses it. You have to enter a visionfs print --install command with the username and passwords tacked on to the end.

It seems to work. the job is accepted, the print spooloer comes on with the progress bar on the winbox, but no out put. This is from a command line

cat .profile | lp -d(printer)

to see if it atleast works with the system. I'm printing to a new dell AIO 960.
