Is it possible to set up Microsoft Word 2000 to prevent users from printing?

Thanks

Depending on what version of Windows you are using or if you're using Linux or a Mac. You can set up a separate user account (say for school purposes) and then for that account, disable printing capabilities from your Device Manager.

However, I cannot seem to find a way to disable printing capabilities straight from Word.

Hope this helps somewhat.

Thanks for the input, I actually went with PDF, you can covert from Word then lock up the print option.

If you have Adobe Acrobat you can convert to a .PDF and lock down security from there. (Won't work with Reader, you need the full version.)
