Printing Reports

Hi

Since we upgraded to 7.300spb all the reports seems strange. They print with bigger fonts then before. How do i setup print preferences for HP Laser printers so it prints reports correctly. I tried reducing font size but it started printing 1.5 pages per sheet ....

A lot of time a new driver for the printer will correct these issues. What type of HP printer is it?

There's an article in the Macola infomines that lists some printers and recommended drivers. I don't have the doc handy, but someone with portal access should be able to find it quickly. The title is "List of Print Drivers Used Successfully in the Field," or something along those lines.

Doc ID : 02.886.562 thats the report i tried different drivers. But lets say you use font box and select smaller size font ... the printouts dont get smaller ... its like all of them stuck at 12. It seems to be happening on all stations.

I like to use HP LaserJet III or HP LaserJet 4 driver even on XP's and it seems to work well. I also leave a link to the printer with the "correct" print driver in case you need to use some of the advanced functionality

Are you using the font dialog box in Macola to change this, or are you doing something to the printer itself? I always use the font dialog box in Macolz as you submit the print job to do this.

As to why this changed in the first place, I am at a loss.

The reports print with 12 point fonts much larger then before .. it use to be 8-10 on older versions ... i tried to reduce the size of the font on the reports since most of the time the page # on the top right corner dont even show up so if i lower it to 8 pt on font dialog box atleast it shows the page # on the top right corner. But it still prints with large fonts.
