Hello Experts,

I finally got it right to make crystal reports, gave a good preview, can export it to any printer(in the preview), ...
So far so good.
I have 2 questions now.

1)How do I send the report to a specific printer (all the printers are installed on the server (program ms server 2000) with showing the dialog.
here is it probably with SelectPrinter but i don't know
the syntax.
2)Has anybody already send a report to winfax10 pro without showing the dialog

All the pc's are windows 2000.
Foxprow is 7.0 sp1

Hi Filip,

Yes, you call the report object's SetPrinter method. This takes three pararmeters:

- The name of the printer driver; this is the same as the name that you use with VFP's SET PRINTER NAME command (e.g. HP LaserJet 5P). This parameter is the most important one.

- A shorter name for the printer. As far as I know, this is only used to display the name of the printer in the Print dialogue.

- The name of the port. I have found that you can just pass an empty string for this.

Re Winfax Pro ... no, sorry, I don't know about that.
