I created a document in Word2000 using the outline view. I want to print this document, including all of the indents. I can't seem to do this. I asked the paperclip guy, and he's clueless.#-)

Thanks for any help

It prints everything left adjusted to the left margin. The door to life is never locked, but few have the knowledge to open it.

I did a test, all good, margins printout are correct
I will be glad to mail it to you.
I cannot duplicate your issue.
You might try creating a test doc, if it is ok then copy/paste the contents of your problem doc into it.
Not much, but i hope it helps sopme.

I just tried it. I created a doc. did a View/Outline
I put in:
The first line (return)
(tab) next line (should be indented)(return)
(tab) (tab) this is the next line (return)

Prints like this:
The first line
next line
this is the next line

Can we swap doc's?

Gary

not a problem, the second test was:
line of text (return)
(tab) line of text (return)
(tab)(tab) line of text (return)

view/outline and view reflected the doc.
print preview reflected the correct format.
print was good.ie.

view/outline should be first. no? The door to life is never locked, but few have the knowledge to open it.

It still will not print. The door to life is never locked, but few have the knowledge to open it.

New question, but first, perhaps an answer.

If the document was created in outline view, and the indents were what you wanted, you should be able to print, but be in outline view first, and they should come out correctly.

My question is, How do I get the indents in outline view to come over to normal view? Is there a style / format for that?

Thanks in advance.
