Printing Outline Version of Logo?

I'm using Illustrator CS / PC version.

I am trying to print a black and white OUTLINE version of a logo that uses two PMS colors. I actually located the "OUTLINE" command that shows me what I need. But when I use Illustrator's print preview function before hitting the print button, it shows the logo in its original state.

How do I print just the outline?

Thanks in advance,
W!

Or fill with white Thom if there are any overlapping outlines so they won't show up.

Thanks for the replies. I fiddled around with the FILL / STROKE commands and got what I needed.

Just out of curiousity, what is the OUTLINE function used for in Illustrator? I stumbled on it by chance, and it wasn't what I needed for my task.

The outline feature is if you are working on a very complex drawing and it takes to long to redraw each time you do something, just a time saving feature

Here is the other reason I ask about Outline. I receive our company logos in eps form from our hired graphic designers. I, in turn, have to forward that logo to sign makers, promotional item vendors, and other strategic partners. On a number of ocassions they have asked for our logo in an "illustrator eps 'outline' format" so they can manipulate size and color. Can an outline version of an illustrator .eps be manipulated better than the regular version?

I apologize for all the questions -- I don't start my official illustrator training class until next week.

When you create an Illustrator file you get outlines, when you sve it
as eps or a ia file its still in the file but not when you save in PDF mode.
Outlines is just the edges of vector based art.
On ofthe great things about outline is when you have a complex file
with lots of overlays you can go into preview selection mode to select
and make changes.
