I have a 40 some page book, and only the first page will print.

It looks like all the pages are being sent to the printer, and I get no errors, and there is plent of paper in the printer, but only the first page comes out.

I need to fix this QUICK!!!

Thanks for your help!

The first troubleshooting step should be to see if you can produce a print file instead of a printed page. Try printing to a postscript file and then distill in Acrobat Distiller. You can keep an eye on the distiller log to see if there is some sort of PostScript error.

umm... i dont think i know how to do that. i tried changing a lot of different options in the print menu, but all i get is one page.

i dont know what to do!

Somewhere in the print dialog, you will find an option to 'print to file'. If this is not available, see if another installed printer driver has the feature. If you have no other installed printer drivers, try downloading the free postscript printer driver from adobe.com.

You do have Adobe Distiller, right?

You might also try to export to PDF from the file menu. Then see if you can print the PDF file.

Do you have "Print Current Page" selected in print options rather than "Print All Pages"? When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
