PRINTING ON SERIAL PORT IN W2000

Are you using FP DOS or FP Windows? Are you printing to a Windows printer? If you are, then in the definition, you can specify the port to be COMx.
In Win NT / 2000 / XP you can't directly access the hardware (like COM ports), you must go through Windows.

Go to KB Article - "HOWTO: Use @ ... SAY Commands & Control Codes to Print in FP/W (Q99595)". We use Technique 1 (the first example) to print "raw" to printers in FPW AND VFP.
