printing on IE

Hi

I have a windows NT 4.0 workstation & it gives a peculiar problem. Since last week i am unable to print from IE 5.5 and also outlook express 5.5. when i give print command the printer window comes and and i set the required properties and when i say ok it goes but it does not print. And there is no error message even.

I browsed microsfot knowledge base but i did not come across this particular issue.

Can any one help me.

HI.

Do other apps print fine?
Try updating to IE6 , or install IE5.5 SP2
- it might solve your problem.
Also reapply SP6a for NT just to make sure.

Which printer driver?
Some 3rd party printer drivers (HP's for example) are having problems in some cases, that generic drivers from Microsoft (I386) don't have.
For example using HP LaserJet 4 from MS sometimes fixes problem that HP's PCL 6 driver suffer from.
Same for many Deskjet printers.

Hello

I am able to print from other apps except IE and outlook express. I did reinstall the IE 5.5 with SP2 but still the problem is same. I have not updated to IE 6.0.

Any other clue to solve the issue.
