Im Looking for a way to put our logo at the top of our guest checks. I saw on the printer settings (Pre loaded) images but we want our own on there.

1. What size does it need to be.

2. Whats the file name called.

3.Were are the preloaded images stored.

4. Can it be done easily.

I did see another post in this form about the app TMFLOGO.exe

i downloaded that and tried it but my printer is not listed in there. We use Epson TM-80 printers. Can this still be done with that.?

I am not sure which system you're talking about, but the if your system can accomplish this (and I am betting it can), the TM88 will definitely be among those that can do it. Sorry this wasn't more specific, but whether you get an immediate response on this or not, I'd keep looking---it's almost certainly possible.

You can put a logo on with the TM-80's or 88's. TMFLOGO is the file to do it with. Create a bmp file of the logo and upload it to one of the positions (they are numbered and the app is pretty self explanatory).

Two bits of advice. The UK Epson site will give you instant access to their download site, unlike the US. just register. The TMFLOGO app can be d/l'ed there.

Within Aloha in the printer setup there is an option to print a logo file. To do so you enter the stored memory number of the logo file. Here is the interesting part. My Epsons are Parallel so I use them as Windows printers. This little bit here has saved me on MANY features: If configured as a Windows printer in Aloha the add image file check box and entry field were greyed out. What I found was if I 'enabled' the box, entered the correct number in the field, then changed to a windows printer, it would still honor what was in the greyed out box.

moral of the story is just because the check box or field is greyed or not selectable does not mean it is not valid and working.

Let me know if you need step-by-step instructions...

If you have time, step by steo would help. When i downloaded tmflogo i didnt see my printer in there.

Epson® TM-T88II or higher for check logos. Not supported in TM-80's if you plan to print the logo from the printer memory, which by the way is the preferred and recommended method, not as slow to print.
