Printing Lines on a report 1

My Report prints client catalog shipment data and has six groups. There are two lines that extend from Group Header #1 to Group Footer #1. The lines are on both sides of the report and I print all the line items inside the lines.

Group Header #1 #2 #3 are not Suppressed. Group Header #4 #5 #6 and the Details section are Suppressed becuase they do not contain any fields or text items.

Group Footers #6,#5,#4,#3 are conditionally suppressed and have fileds. Group Footers #2,#1 are not suppressed.

If all the data for the group footers #6,#5,#4,#3 gets printed and there are no remaining items and there is no space left to print Group Footers #1 and #2, then last page prints Group Footers #1 and #2 which is what I want.

However, the lines do not get printed. Is there a way to print the lines under conditions stated in the last paragraph?

The lines dont get printer at all, or not on the last page? Ken Hamady

I am not sure why they wouldn't print. In my limited testing it works fine. Of course I don't work with 6 conditionally suppressed groups. In your 6 groups, how many have "Keep Group Together" or "Repeat GH on new page" checked off in the change group expert?

If all else fails, can you draw duplicate lines (under the original) that are just withing GF1 and GF2? They should not be affected by your strange behavior. Ken Hamady
