printing layers

dear Sir/Madam,

i ma getting some problem regarding printing layers,
i want hard copy of the matter written on a layer.
please give me solution as early as possible.

If you write something on layer (or div elem in IE) and trying to print page this info will be lost. However printing of non-generated layer seems to work OK.

thank you for u'r kind suggestion,
can you explain me how i can do that,
is there any function or property of layers
so that i can invoke printer and print the
matter written on the layer.
