I've got a remote location that we've got a VPN connection to via T1's.
Server 2003 SP1 Enterprise box which is brand new. Added the Print Server role to it, and created new TCPIP Ports pointing to DLink Print servers at the remote location.
Everything worked fine for about a day, then users at the remote site reported printing taking 5-10 minutes for one page.
Tried removing the print server role from the 2003 and reloading it, re-applying SP1 and rebuilding the ports.
None of this has helped. Out of curiosity I created one of the ports on an older Server 2000 machine that runs printers for our local site. When I did remote users reported that print speed was back up to usable levels.
Not sure what to look at on the 2003 box to get the printing speed back to normal.
