I am currently using Crystal reports 11.
I have created a report that prints information about select patients. In the Group Footer section I have GFa-GFd. When I print the report sometimes a GF section starts printing at the bottom on a one page and finishes on the next page. This does not look really good once the report has been printed. I want to know if their is a way to force Crystal Reports to print lets say GFc on page 4 if all of GFc wont print on page 3. The GF sections are not always the same size. Sometimes there are several paragraphs to print or just a couple of short sentences.

Thanks for any help.

You should be able to format each GF_a, b, c, d section in the section expert to "keep together".

lbass, the keep together option in my section expert is checked. I still keep getting one section that continues to print across two pages. Not sure what else to try.

Are you sure it is checked for the subsection of the group like group footer #1_c instead of for the higher order Group Footer #1? Maybe also try unchecking the Keep together for the higher order GF.

You might also check the group expert and see if you have "keep group together" checked--this might be trying to force the whole group on one page.
