For some reason, this client wants to see a total next to each member in a group. Is there even a way to do that? I
have 2 groups, one for the date (daily) and one for the employees. What he wants is next to each employee to show the daily total for all employees.

I don't know if I am overlooking something, but because this is a group header, whatever I use just gives me the employee's total and never the daily total.

Any way to do this on Crystal Report 10/Oracle odbc?

Thanks in advance,
Phil

if you have two groups then you you create a summary you have the option to choose the group to sum by by clicking on the drop down list

Ah, but the report is for multiple days so it gives a total of each day and not just the 1 day I require. It is what I thought of doing, but that would only work if I created a subreport for each day.

Assuming that date is group1 and employee is group 2, create a formula:

sum({table.amt},{table.date})//not sure what you are totalling

Place this in the employee group header.

Your solution worked as always LB, forget a pint, I owe you a brewery by now.

Thank you very much (and to MisterMo as well for his attempt),
Phil

If I understand this correctly you want totals for each day placed on the group header of each employee

if that is the case unless you have a fixed number of days you will have a problem

Mo

It was a total for each day for 5 days so I just used lastfullweek and then did what Linda suggested.
