Hello…
I’m trying to get a flattened .tif file (65 MB) created in Photoshop 7.01 into Acrobat pro 6.0.2 so it can be sent to the printers. Here’s what I’ve done:
convert RGB tif to CMYK
save @ 400dpi
print to adobe pdf with these settings:
- compatibility: acrobat 5.0 (pdf 1.4)
- object level compression: tags only
- resolution: 1200 dpi
- optimize for fast webview is checked
File then prints to distiller as .pdf. When I open the .pdf file in Photoshop to check it, the dpi is 150 and its shown as RGB mode! What am I doin’ wrong? I know I haven’t set something up right, but what?
Thanks
