I am running a windows 2000 server with W2K workstations. We have a user account that is used for students that is extremely locked down. I am having a problem with that account printing from internet explorer. I can print from the internet using the printer icon in the browser menu, but when I go to some websites with a print option actually on the website, I receive an error message (An error occurred during this operation). I can see that it will try to load the printer dialog box for a split second, but then it goes to the error message. I'm believing that my problem is somewhere the group policy for that particular user, but I just can't figure out where. Can anyone throw some clues? Thnx for ya time

Are you getting the same problem with a user that is not locked down ? Peter Van Eeckhoutte

Nope, this is the only user that is having the problem with printing. This is also the only user that is locked down. All other users pretty much have full access.

Can you remove the restrictions on this user, and see if it works... Peter Van Eeckhoutte
