Hi all,

I have a form that records a student being late. The form opens to a new record, and then the student ID is selected from a combo box. The receptionist then enter a reason in a text field box. After that, I have a button that triggers a report for that student that he can take to his/her teacher. Unfortunately, the report shows error all the time. I have to go to a new record (most likely for that freshly created record to be recorded in the underlying table) then go back one record on the form, and then the report will print. There has to be a way to trigger the report when the record gets updated to a new one?

Thanks for your help

In the button that triggers the report add:

Me.Dirty=False

And see if that works for you.

How are ya Cosette . . .

Try the following (only records in edit mode need saving!)
Code:
[blue]   If Me.Dirty Then Me.Dirty = False[/blue]
