I had an HP 832C and never had a problem printing business cards. I tried it with a new psc 1315 yesterday and it starts printing above the preforation. However, on plain paper it prints the 10 business cards perfectly. I can hold up the paper to the business card paper, which is stiffer, and can see that it prints properly. But when I put the business card paper in, the printer starts printing too soon, or maybe it isn't taking the paper over the roller far enough before printing. I hate to go to HP support as Level 1 folks in any tech support org rarely can help. Can anyone on this forum give any ideas as to why this is happening when I try to print business cards? Thanks

Peace,
Rich Emond

I have the same problem with the psc 1300.
It print fine when testing with plan paper. But, when using the AVERY business cards, it only prints on the first two cards and start the printing to early on the marging.
Thanks
Gilbert

I got the same printer and the same problem. I tried Geographics business card paper, almost 50% cheaper than the avery ink-jet printer business cards and 100% working fine, no problems printing on it, it was precie and worked fine for me with the psc-1315. I buyed this paper at Wal-mart.

Good luck.

You are correct that the Avery paper will not work. I also found two brands at Wal-Mart that work fine. One is Maco Laser & Ink Jet Cards (paper is not very stiff though) and PC Papers by AMPAD (stiffer paper and works fine).
