Greetings,

I created a PDF form, and when potential contractors used it there was a [+] at the end of the field because they used more space than was allotted on the page. So you had to click the [+] to see the rest of the text in the form.

Is there a way to have a form with more data in the field than is allowed on the screen to print out all the information in the field? I could not find this option anywhere.

Thanks.

- Dan

If the form was created in Acrobat, you can change the font size to Auto - this shrinks the font to fit in the available space.

If the form was created in LiveCycle Designer (comes with Acrobat Pro) you can change the setting to either
a. restrict the number of characters to the visible space
b. allow the text box to grow to accomodate more information

option b requires more settings to create a dynamic form that adjusts it's layout.
