I am trying to print an existing report in Access 2000 from a c#.net app. I have added the appropriate com reference and used the proper calls from the interop assembly created by VS.net 2003. The database opens but I receive the following error:

You must install a printer before you design, print, or preview.

If accessing an Access 2000(9.0) report in design mode is the issue, how do I fix that? I do have a default printer installed. The PC is running Win2000. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Additional InfO:

The .net app runs fine on its own when executed through a shortcut. But this app is called by a custom 'agent' handled by a Windows service, from a wireless device running Pocket PC 2003. This error message is displayed only when the wireless device exeutes it. Does anyone have any smart device experience doing this kind of thing? This works very well using Access 2003. Unfortunately, in this case, I must interface with Access 9.0 (2000). Thanks for your help.
