Hi,
I need to create a button which will print a variety of word documents. Bascically, this is for a user who needs to print out an 'application pack' for potential new employees. This would include 3 documents, one of them being printed twice (ie. so the receiver can keep a copy for reference).
Is this possible or will the user have to do this in a more traditional way?
Thanks for everyones help over the last couple of months
:))))

Hi!

You can print word documents from access. You will need to open word application and then open the required document(s). If you declare a document object variable you can set that variable to the open document and one of the methods available will be printout. You will need to make sure that you have a reference set to Word 8.0 in your database. Actually, once that reference is set, you can go to your object browser and select the Word library and search for printout. You can select the prinout method for the document object and then put your cursor in the bottom part of the object browser, right click and the pop-up menu will have a selection call help. Click on help and you will find out all you need to know about printout.

Enjoy the search!
