Hi,

I have written a few reports and integrated them into our ERP system, I designed the reports on my PC, but when ever anyone else runs the reports they default to my printer ( even if they haven't got it installed )

my question is, is there a way to force the report to use the default printer on the users PC?

Any help would be great.

Mick.

I had the same problem with our reports and it was horrible because our reports were sent to clients. The reports would take forever to run because it was trying to find my machine. Anyway, to fix the problem, I turned on the "No printer" option from the File | Printer Setup. In this way, the other users will not print to my machine. The only problem is that you have to remeber to turn on that option before you give the report to other users. (Every time you print the report, it automatically shuts off the option). It would be nice to figure out a way to set the default printer for the user's PC but have not figured that out yet. Hope this helps.
