Printing a record

I am using MySQL and PHP with Apache. I am trying to put together a company intranet to create proposals for customers. I think I have the creation in mind but how would I "Print" the proposal for the client? All of this (intranet) would be under one roof so to speak. I have not much experience, so any help would be appreciated!

I already did something like that and used pdf.
you can print it or simply email it to the client.
